The Medical Device Directive 93/42/EEC stipulates that medical equipment used for the
cleaning & disinfecting of surgical instruments must be validated & quality assured.
The SonoCheck is a quick & cost effective method of complying with such requirements.
The SonoCheck consists of a small vial containing an indicator solution & a quantity of glass nuclei beads which,
when subjected to the correct cavitation forces within an Ultrasonic washer, induce a colour change in the vial solution.
The vials are unobtrusive and easily placed, testing the efficiency of the transducers
during the wash process and provide rapid, objective results.
The SonoCheck is so cleverly designed that testing can also take place during live wash scenarios.
